Incorporation Process: Hong Kong Companies
Incorporating a Hong Kong company requires that you provide us with the full due diligence requirements (application form and documents), we will then send you (if you are providing the director) documents to be signed, and these will then be filed with the Hong Kong Companies Registry. You should fill in the company application form, and fax or email this to us. If we have any questions regarding the information, we will email you or phone to confirm the details. The company incorporation details will be used to prepare the documents (for incorporation) which will need to be signed. We will email these to you, for you to print and sign (if you are providing the company director, etc.). You will then need to courier these documents to us, so that they may be filed with the regulatory authorities in Hong Kong. If you will be signing the original M&AA, rather than using a nominee, then you will need to also provide us with the details of the witness to the documents. These documents include:
After the Certificate of Incorporation is received from the Companies Registry, the following documents must then be filed at the Companies Registry:
After the company is incorporated, the company must apply to the Inland Revenue Department for a Business Registration Certificate. This is usually issued the same day. Upon completion of the incorporation, you will receive a box-file with all of the corporate documents (unless you request that these be held in safe-custody). Total turn-around time: approximately two (2) weeks. You will need to have completed the information requested and documentation (due diligence) requested, in order for us to get started.
